My New Fridge Sounds Like a Small Car

I’m not kidding…it’s really loud. It honestly sounds like the small European car my ex-boyfriend and I drove around Spain in.

When I told my brother how loud my fridge was he asked me “Did you read the manual?” I replied with the same question “Did I read the manual?” I paused “No, I didn’t read my manual” and I thought…First off, who the hell reads manuals and second, it’s a fridge not WordPress. What exactly do I need to do besides plug it in, adjust the knobs to cold inside the fridge and freezer and wait for it to get cold—this thing doesn’t require additional plug-ins to work!!

He recommended I unplug the fridge and read the manual…so I did, because big brother sometimes knows best, but guess what?? Still sounds like a small car is running in my kitchen. Looks like I’ll be going to Sears again tomorrow morning.

But does it leave your food cold?

Way back, in a deep corner of my mind, I must have known that fridges come with manuals. But aside from that, who ever would read one? Or write one for that matter.

If it's any consolation, 2 of my three computers, when on at the same time, create the sound of a small airplane. I think of it as therapeutic white noise that helps me concentrate. Well, yeah, good luck back at Sears. :)
